Vote Outcome

We are pleased to announce that at a series of Extraordinary General Meetings held on the 5 September 2007 investors approved the following proposals:

1. A change of ‘Insight Investment US Portfolio’s’ Objective and Policy to that of the ‘Insight Investment Diversified Dynamic Return Fund’, and a merger with the ‘Insight Investment Diversified Dynamic Return Fund’.
2. A merger of the ‘Insight Investment Global Dynamic Managed Fund’ into the ‘Insight Investment Diversified Dynamic Return Fund’.
3. A change of the ‘Insight Investment UK Equity Income Portfolio’s’ Objective and Policy to that of the ‘Insight Investment Diversified High Income Fund’ and a merger with the ‘Insight Investment Diversified High Income Fund’.

The respective mergers will take effect on the 27 October 2007 for the Global Dynamic Managed Fund and the US Portfolio, and 3 November 2007 for the UK Equity Income Portfolio.  We will provide investors with details of their new holdings in writing within 14 days of the relevant effective date of the merger.
