Managing your account
Changing your mind?
If you decide that you do not want to proceed with your investment, this is not a problem.
Automatically when you make your initial investment, we send you a cancellation notice. Unlike the industry norm, which gives you just 14 days to cancel (and only if you've come through a financial adviser), with Insight Investment everyone has up to 30 days from receipt of the cancellation notice to change their mind.
Keeping you up to date
Twice yearly, we will send you a statement as at 5 April and 5 October detailing your investments and any transactions during the preceding six months.
However, you don't need to wait for these to be sent to you though. You, or your Financial Adviser, can call us at any time and we'll be happy to provide you with a valuation over the phone.
When you make your first or any subsequent investment (excluding regular savings), or if you make any changes to your investments, we will send you a contract note that will specify the exact details.
If you have any queries relating to your investment or on the products and services that we offer, we have a team of trained professionals waiting to take your call. In the unlikely event that we cannot deal with your query immediately, we will come back to you within 24 hours with a response.

How to change your personal details
If you move, please let us have your new address in writing at the above address. If you prefer, you can ask your financial adviser to let us know.
If you have changed your name into either a married or maiden name, please send us a copy of your Marriage Certificate or Decree Nisi and we will update your details accordingly. If you have changed your name by Deed Poll please send us certified copies of the certificate.
Changing your financial adviser
If you have changed your financial adviser since you first made your investment with us, you can ask your new financial adviser to send us a letter of authority, which you will need to sign to confirm its authenticity.
We will then send a letter confirming this change to both your new and old financial adviser.
