Update - Absolute Insight Emerging Market Debt Fund has received an A Rating from OBSR.  

The following bulletin has been released to OBSR users:

“Following the OBSR Fund Ratings Meeting on 10th December 2009, we have introduced the Absolute Insight Emerging Market Debt fund to the Service with an A Rating.  The experienced portfolio manager, Colm McDonagh, has developed a process that combines rigorous country-level analysis with relative and absolute value analysis to identify the most attractive investments in the broad emerging market debt universe.  This is supplemented by his continual focus on downside risk and a disciplined and comprehensive risk process that is designed to help the fund to meet its absolute return objective over rolling twelve-month periods.  We believe the fund is a high quality and unusual offering in the absolute return sector and we have consequently decided to include it in the Global Fund Ratings Service.”
