INSIGHT INVESTMENT MARKS FOURTH YEAR AS TITLE SPONSOR OF ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS SUMMER EXHIBITION

26 May 2009

Insight Investment, one of the UK’s largest asset managers, is pleased to sponsor the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition for the fourth consecutive year. The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition is the world’s largest open submission of contemporary art that showcases art from emerging and established artists from around the world. The exhibition will run from 8 June to 16 August at the Royal Academy of Arts, Piccadilly in London .

Every year approximately one thousand works are selected from as many as 10,000 entries. The exhibition, which features paintings, sculpture, photography, drawings, prints and architectural models, maintains its tradition of showcasing innovative work by unknown and emerging artists alongside more established names.

In 2009 the theme selected for the Summer Exhibition is ‘Making Space’, a broad theme that aims to showcase works that convey a sense of space, as well as hanging the exhibition as spaciously as possible.

Abdallah Nauphal, managing director, Insight Investment, said: “We are once again proud to sponsor the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition. The Exhibition captures the imagination of many thousands of visitors to the RoyalAcademy every year and, now in our fourth year of sponsorship, we are certain it will continue to be a source of inspiration for visitors including our clients, colleagues and business partners especially in these difficult times.”
