Insight Investment has appointed Sonja Uys as the Product Specialist for Absolute Return Strategies, reporting to Reza Vishkai, head of Alternatives.

Sonja, a qualified actuary, joins from JP Morgan where she marketed derivatives transactions across a range of asset classes and instruments to institutional investors. Prior to that she began her career at Lloyds TSB in pensions review then moved to Jardine Lloyd Thompson to work in actuarial consulting.

Sonja will be focusing her efforts on boosting Insight’s activities and presence in the absolute return sector, where it has already established itself with a very wide product range.
