C#/SQL Analyst Developer (based in London)

Based in our Investment Technology and Operations team this role will contribute to the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of software solutions in order to meet the requirements of projects undertaken by the Quant Systems team at Insight.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Work with business users, business analysts and IT project managers to understand business requirements and contribute to the planning and estimation of effort.
  • Work with IT colleagues to design software solutions to address these requirements within the context of the Insight systems architecture.
  • Develop and implement quality software to implement the design within the agreed scope, time and budget constraints of the project, and in accordance with the Insight standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • Facilitate the testing and release of software solutions and the handover of systems to support within the framework of the Insight change management process.

To be successful in your application you will need advanced knowledge of C# (3.5 or higher) and SQL as well as experience of an ETL tool (Cadis, SSIS), batch scheduling system (Control M, AutoSys), messaging middleware (WebSphere MQ) and any history with Cloud Technology also an advantage.

Client Services (based in London)

Guideline Implementation and Control Manager (based in London)

The Mandate Control team here at Insight sit with and support the Fund Managers to ensure our client guidelines are operationally viable and risk limits fully adhered to. This is a management role that will see you not only overseeing the team responsible for the coding and monitoring of guidelines but also working directly with our Fund and Relationship Managers to develop guidelines that fully reflect the client’s intent and strategy.

Insight is widely regarded as Market leader for our LDI (Liability Driven Investment) Solutions and this position will be an integral part of the successful running of this function as much of the work will be dedicated to our LDI business.

Head of IT Customer Service (based in London)

The Technology Services and Facilities department is responsible for the day to day provision of technology and office services across the global business. From a technology perspective, this includes the management of Insight’s infrastructure (i.e. network, servers, devices and storage), data centres, virtual desktop environment, applications, batch processes (including data feeds and interfaces), databases and IT Security.

The Head of IT Customer Services is an internally facing role with global responsibilities to ensure that Insight business colleagues receive an outstanding customer service experience and are able to make full use of all technology services that are available to them.

Broad knowledge of IT operations, Office 365, Windows 10 and (ideally) cloud will certainly be useful and this role will suit someone who keeps updated on technologies and industry IT practise. The successful candidate is likely to be self-confident, robust and demonstrate the ability to communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.

Head of Transitions and Onboarding (based in London)

Reporting to the Head of Technology Development & Operations this is a high profile role with responsibility to build and lead the Transitions and Onboarding team in London.  Working alongside teams in the Client Service Group, you will be responsible for delivering all operational and trade documentation elements of a wide portfolio of new client onboarding, fund launches and asset transitions, including derivatives.

The role will include significant coordination with Insight teams in Operations, Client Service Group, Legal and Investment. The role will also include oversight of Insight’s investment operations outsourcing partner (Northern Trust) and other external parties including clients, consultants, external investment managers and custodians. The ideal candidate will take a lead in shaping how Insight teams and external parties work together most effectively as well as working in partnership with a peer in NYC to create a holistic global approach for the business as a whole.

A proven track record in transitions and onboarding is a pre requisite however this does not necessarily have to come from a Buy Side institution, other core knowledge and skills include; Understanding of Pooled Funds, Segregated Mandates and In-Specie activities, prior experience with Derivative Instruments, people management & leadership and the ability to work autonomously and flexibly with minimal supervision.

IT OTC Derivative Services Support Analyst (based in London)

An opportunity has arisen to join our IT OTC Derivative Services Support team who are a part of the wider IT Operations division here at Insight. In this role you will be responsible for 3rd line business application support as well as a variety of related project activity.  Working across multiple proprietary systems you will be providing support on all issues relating to OTC derivative data stemming from; trade flow, pricing, compliance, collateral, performance and coding activity. You will have close interaction with a variety of internal contacts including Fund Managers, Developers, Compliance and Performance teams as well as the wider IT department.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working in a 3rd line application support position within the financial services industry. It is essential to have intermediate SQL skills as a minimum and OTC Derivative knowledge is desirable but not essential.

Loan Documentation Specialist (based in London)

The team is responsible for supporting the business in the delivery of exemplary service to a range of clients consisting of Insurance Companies, Financial Institutions, Pension Funds and other Corporate Investors. Client mandates vary from smaller clients investing in pooled vehicles with less than £10 million to substantial corporate mandates of increasing complexity. The team’s performance is critical to the success of the business as a whole. Risk Analyst (based in London)

Insight are currently looking to hire a Risk Analyst to support a variety of tasks across the Corporate Risk Function. The team are responsible for the continued development of the Risk Management Framework (encompassing Operational, Fiduciary, Business and Reputational risks) within Insight and role will see you working closely with internal stakeholders including Senior Management and external Stakeholders including the wider Bank of New York Mellon Group Risk functions.

The area is also responsible for the co-ordination of Business Continuity and Information Risk Management. The role of the Risk Analyst will be to support the team by undertaking corporate risk reporting and MI, maintaining the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (‘RSCA’) programme and co-ordination of regular meetings with all business owners
