Absolute Insight Currency Fund
Our Absolute Insight Currency Fund seeks to provide attractive, positive returns in all market conditions.
The Fund invests across global currency markets and has typically exhibited low correlations to more traditional asset classes, making it a source of potential diversification within a wider portfolio.
We believe currencies, more than most investments, lend themselves to generating positive returns through all market environments. We make trades on a relative basis and we beleive the skill, judgement and timing of their execution are typically the primary determinants of returns, rather than the underlying direction of a specific market.
Liquidity: currency markets are the most liquid in the world. This means our investment strategy can be effectively and efficiently implemented even when liquidity is limited in other asset classes.
Robust process and risk controls: the Fund's managers follow an established investment process which is monitored and overseen by an independent risk team.
Experienced, well-resourced team: the specialist Currency Team manages our currency exposure and is supported by a multi-disciplinary Fixed Income Group of over 114 investment professionals

The value of investments and any income from them will fluctuate and is not guaranteed (this may be partly due to exchange rate fluctuations). Investors may not get back the full amount invested. Past performance is not a guide to future performance.
Derivatives may be used to generate returns as well as to reduce costs and/or the overall risk of the portfolio. Using derivatives can involve a higher level of risk. A small movement in the price of an underlying investment may result in a disproportionately large movement in the price of the derivative investment..
The investment manager may invest in instruments which can be difficult to sell when markets are stressed.
While efforts will be made to eliminate potential inequalities between shareholders in a pooled fund through the performance fee calculation methodology, there may be occasions where a shareholder may pay a performance fee for which they have not received a commensurate benefit.
