Royal Society Insight Investment Science Book Prize
We are a proud sponsor of the Royal Society Insight Investment Science Book Prize. The importance of challenging pre-conceived wisdom to encourage new ways of thinking in all aspects of the sciences has significant parallels with how we look to maximise resilience in anticipation of change and uncertainty in the world’s financial markets.
One of our core objectives is to contribute to the advancement of knowledge of both our clients and employees by providing market leading training and educational content. As a firm at the forefront of developing new investment techniques, our highly regarded client investment training programme aims to not only educate others but also promote originality within finance. Collaboration with the Royal Society enables us to give our clients unique access to this renowned platform of research and advance knowledge in a unique setting synonymous with education.
In 2017, for the 30th anniversary Royal Society Insight Investment Science Book Prize, Cordelia Fine's explosive study of gender politics, Testosterone Rex: Unmaking the Myths of Our Gendered Minds, was the winner of the 'Booker Prize of science writing'.
Congratulations to all finalists who should be extremely proud to join the likes of Stephen Hawking, Bill Bryson and Andrea Wulf as this country’s best science authors.
