    Abdallah Nauphal

    Chief Executive Officer

    As Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Abdallah leads the development of Insight’s strategic business plan. Abdallah was appointed Chief Investment Officer (CIO) in September 2003 with overall responsibility for the investment management team, and in June 2006 was appointed Deputy Chief Executive.

    In July 2007, Abdallah became Insight’s CEO, while retaining his position as CIO. Abdallah has over 30 years’ industry experience. He has overseen the transformation of Insight from a traditional investment manager to a specialist solutions provider across LDI, fixed income and absolute return. During this time, the scope and complexity of Insight’s business and governance structures has evolved significantly. As a result, in 2016, Abdallah relinquished his CIO responsibilities, to focus on the role of CEO.

    Abdallah’s previous roles include CIO (fixed income) at Rothschild Asset Management and Head of Fixed Income for Schroder Investment Management Limited in London.

    Abdallah holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from New England College, an MS in Information Systems and an MBA in Finance and Investments from George Washington University.

    Chief Executive Officer, North America

    David is Chief Executive Officer of Insight North America and he is responsible for driving Insight’s strategy for North America and leading the U.S. Management Committee. David joined Insight in September 2021 as Deputy CEO, North America following the transition of Mellon Investments’ fixed income strategies to Insight. He started working at Mellon Investments in 1995 as a portfolio manager and analyst for US domestic fixed income, moving from structured finance to global strategies in 1999.

    David has held a number of leadership positions, including Chief Investment Officer of Active Fixed Income, Managing Director of Global Fixed Income and Senior Portfolio Manager for global credit strategies. He was also the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer for Standish, responsible for overseeing fixed income investment management activities. In addition, he was a member of the Standish Board of Managers.

    Prior to joining Mellon Investments, David spent seven years as an Investment Officer at State Street. He has an MBA from Boston University and a BS from the University of Rhode Island. David is a CFA charter holder and is a member of the CFA Institute.

    Head of Client Solutions Group

    Serkan joined in 2012 and is Head of the Client Solutions Group (CSG) at Insight. The CSG includes Insight’s Solution Design, Client Relationship Management, Client Service and Investment Specialist teams. The CSG is focussed on the effective design of our solutions and the achievement of our clients’ objectives and interfaces with our clients on all aspects of their Insight experience from investment strategy input to relationship management to day-to-day interactions. In September 2018, Serkan became a member of Insight’s Executive Management Committee.

    He joined Insight from DTZ where he was an Executive Committee Member and Global Head of Investment and Asset Management. Prior to this, Serkan spent nine years at Barclays Capital where he co-founded and managed the bank’s risk management solutions business for UK defined benefit pension schemes. He started his career working as a management consultant at the New York office of Booz Allen & Hamilton Inc.

    Serkan holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College (USA), as well as a BSc in Electrical Engineering and a BSc in Physics from Bogazici University (Turkey). Serkan also holds his Series 3 license and is an Associated Person with the National Futures Association.

    Lynne Dalgarno

    Head of Human Resources

    Lynne joined Insight in October 2015 as Head of Human Resources and a member of the Executive Management Committee. She joined having spent three years at Alliance Trust where, as Director of Human Resources and Corporate Services, she was responsible for HR, people development and change management initiatives.

    Prior to this, Lynne was Director of Human Resources and Corporate Services at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership in Edinburgh. She has also held senior HR roles at Murray Johnstone and Scottish Amicable Investment Managers.

    Lynne holds a BA in Law and Economics and a Degree (Single Hons) in Law, both from the University of Strathclyde.

    Chief Operating Officer

    Jon joined Insight as Chief Operating Officer in October 2019 with overall responsibility for Operations, IT, Business Change and Corporate Strategy.

    Before joining Insight, Jon was the Global Chief Operating Officer and sat on the management board of DWS, the publicly listed spin-out of Deutsche Banks’s asset management business. Jon has a wealth of experience within the financial services industry and has a strong background in both Technology and Operations.

    Jon began his career at JPMorgan where he spent 17 years in a variety of technology and business roles across the globe including nine years in Asia. He joined Deutsche Bank in London in 2007 as the Global Chief Operating Officer for the Rates and Commodities business and moved to Deutsche’s Asset and Wealth management business in 2012 to become their Global Chief Operating Officer.

    Jon holds a BSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton.

    Ayah Elmaazi

    Ayah was appointed as General Counsel at Insight in February 2024 after being appointed as Head of Legal in January 2022 and is responsible for managing the firm’s legal risk. Ayah initially joined the Legal Department in January 2018 having oversight of the team covering client agreements and corporate matters. Ayah has a wealth of experience in working within the regulatory regime of the financial services industry. Prior to Insight, Ayah was a lawyer at Coutts & Lloyds. She previously spent a year and a half at the Bank of England as a Manager in the Regulatory Action Division where she assisted in founding the Enforcement Division. She also worked across the General Counsel Division and the Enforcement Division at the Financial Services Authority in a number of roles; the last of which was working in the team that, alongside Treasury and the Bank of England, drafted of the legislation that dissolved the Financial Services Authority and split financial regulation between the Bank of England the Financial Conduct Authority. Ayah graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) with a BA in History and she also holds an MSc in Population and Development from the London School of Economics (LSE). Ayah also qualified as a Barrister in 2006.

    Andrew joined Insight in April 2003 following the acquisition of Rothschild Asset Management Limited (RAM) and was named Head of the Financial Solutions Group in September 2003. In November 2009, Andrew joined the Executive Management Committee as Chief Investment Officer – Solutions and was appointed to his current role as Executive Vice Chairman in September 2018.

    He has 35 years of investment experience, spanning both the UK and overseas institutional markets. Throughout this time, he has championed the development and use of derivatives and risk management techniques within institutional funds. He is one of the industry’s pioneering architects of liability-driven investment and has been responsible for leading Insight’s capability in this area.

    Outside the institutional market, Andrew has been responsible for innovating derivative-based structured products that have become a significant feature of the retail investment market.

    Global Chief Investment Officer

    Adrian joined Insight in April 2003 as Head of European Fixed Income following the acquisition of Rothschild Asset Management Limited (RAM).

    In September 2003, he was appointed Deputy Head of Fixed Income and in 2005 became Head of Fixed Income. Adrian joined the Executive Management Committee in October 2012 and in 2016, he became Chief Investment Officer – Active Management. In September 2018, Adrian took on his current role as Global Chief Investment Officer responsible for the oversight of the firm’s investment management teams.

    Before joining Insight, he was a Director in the Fixed Income Team at RAM focusing on European research and global portfolios. Prior to joining RAM in 1994, he spent four years working in bond sales for UBS Phillips & Drew and three years managing international bond portfolios at ARCA, Milan.

    He has a BA honours degree in Economics and Politics from Warwick University and an MA in International Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins University in the US.

    Andrew is Chief Finance Officer for Insight and joined the firm in November 2020. Prior to joining, Andrew worked as Managing Director at UBS, fulfilling a variety of senior finance roles during a 20-year career. This included acting as Chief Financial Officer of the UK & Jersey Wealth Management business, Group EMEA Financial Controller and, most recently, as Global Head of Group Reporting & Analytics.

    Andrew is a UK Chartered Accountant, holds an MBA from London Business School, a Masters in Wealth Management from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and a BSC (Hons) degree in Banking & Finance.

    Chief Risk Officer

    Mark is Chief Risk Officer for Insight Investment Management (Global) Limited (IIMG) and Insight Investment International Limited (IIIL). In this global role, he oversees Insight’s Operational, Investment, Corporate, Market and Information risk in addition to Insight’s Compliance function.

    He joined Insight in October 2007 as Head of Operations managing both the internal and outsourced operations capabilities. He then additionally took responsibility for Insight’s Corporate Risk Team in 2009, where he led the re-development of the risk framework across the firm. In July 2011, he transferred into the Distribution Division to lead the institutional client teams to focus on client service before becoming Head of Product Strategy in January 2014. He additionally took on responsibility for Corporate Strategy in April 2015 and focused exclusively on this from November 2017. Mark joined the Executive Management Committee in May 2016 and assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, North America in September 2018.

    Prior to joining Insight, Mark worked at Ernst & Young, in their Advisory Services Group focused on leading projects for UK and European investment managers. Mark began his career at Threadneedle in 1994, where he spent over ten years in different management roles within their Operations division.

    He holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Manchester.

    Angus Woolhouse

    Global Head of Distribution

    Angus joined Insight in July 2017 as Global Head of Distribution. Prior to Insight, Angus was Global Head of Distribution at Barings Asset Management with responsibility for 11 regional offices across Asia, Europe, Middle East and North and South America.

    Angus began his career in asset management in 1993 at HSBC Asset Management, based in Hong Kong. He later joined Invesco in London as Director of Marketing and Product Development and, following the acquisition of Perpetual, was responsible for creating the combined brand and product strategy for Invesco Perpetual. In 2003, Angus became a founding partner of Gartmore Investment Management and occupied the role of Head of Global Institutional business, refocusing the business towards high alpha and alternatives and successfully building an institutional client base. Following a two-year stint as the CEO of a hedge fund and private equity business, he joined Barings.

    Angus holds a Masters degree from Aberdeen University.
