    Scott Zaleski, CFA

    Head of US Multi Sector Fixed Income

    Scott is Insight’s Head of US Multi-Sector Fixed Income, responsible for the oversight and portfolio management of the US core and core plus fixed income strategies. Scott joined Insight in 2014 via a predecessor BNY affiliate, as the lead portfolio manager for the US sleeve of the firm’s global aggregate bond strategy. Scott has been in the financial services industry since 1990. Previously, Scott worked at the Flatley Company, where he managed the fixed income absolute return strategy. Earlier, Scott was with Wellington as a fixed income portfolio manager and credit analyst focused on corporate credit and structured products. Scott also held investment management positions at Putnam and Fidelity. Scott has a BS from Skidmore College and an MS in Finance from Boston College. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.

    Senior Portfolio Manager, Active Management

    James joined Insight's Fixed Income Group in 1999 (via predecessor company, Cutwater Asset Management) and has worked in the financial services industry since 1998. As a senior portfolio manager, James’s responsibilities include managing the firm’s core, core plus, select income, and high yield strategies.  James also has an extensive history in managing long duration taxable and tax-exempt strategies as well as money market portfolios. James holds a BS degree from Fordham University and an MBA from Pace University.

    Head of US Investment Grade

    Erin is Insight’s Head of US Investment Grade, responsible for overseeing a team of portfolio managers and managing credit portfolios, including US long duration credit, US credit, US intermediate credit and other customized credit portfolios. Erin has worked in the investment industry since 1994. Prior to joining Insight in 2019, Erin worked at Conning, Inc. as a fixed Income Portfolio Manager, where she managed credit liability-driven portfolios for pension and insurance clients. Erin also worked at JP Morgan Asset Management as a fixed income portfolio manager, where she managed credit and customized portfolios for a full range of clients with a focus on pensions, and also handled credit trading. Erin holds a BA in Economics/Mathematics from Boston University and is also a CFA charterholder.

    Brendan Murphy, CFA

    Head of Fixed Income, North America

    Brendan joined Insight in September 2021 following the transition of Mellon Investments’ fixed income strategies to Insight. He has worked in the investment industry since 1996. Brendan is Head of Core Fixed Income, North America. In this role, he responsible for all core US Fixed Income including the US Core and Multi Sector, US Rates and Mortgages, US Insurance and US Investment Grade teams. He will continue his responsibilities as the lead portfolio manager for the global and opportunistic fixed income strategies in North America and oversee our associated team. He previously served as senior portfolio manager for non-US, global and opportunistic bond portfolios at Mellon Investments. Before managing portfolios, he was a senior trader responsible for non-US-dollar developed and
    emerging market securities as well as foreign exchange. Prior to joining Mellon Investments, Brendan was a senior trader responsible for investment grade corporate bonds at State Street Research. Brendan received a BA from Trinity College. He is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute.
