The calibre of the people and the willingness to make Insight a good business – always thinking about what’s good for the clients and trying to do something for them.

What makes Insight a different place to work?
Always trying to be best you can be – it’s inspiring that the courage to challenge things is valued, you can question things and express your opinion. I don’t see much politics here and that’s pretty amazing. It’s not a small company but there’s a sense of family values, not just words but what’s demonstrated.

We’re driven by our responsibilities, not just what we’re told to do, if there’s a deadline to meet, everyone picks up any slack.

What makes you proud to work here?
Since joining I have seen Insight grow steadily into an investment house, highly regarded by investment consultants, clients and staff. I feel privileged to be a part of that success. I hope to continue to contribute to Insight's growth, with our expansion into the US, Australia and Japan.

I work with an amazing group of people - my immediate team and other staff members. I find people here friendly and supportive as we all have the same goal.

What makes you proud to work here?
Insight is an industry leader with a good range of high quality solutions – it makes me proud to be associated with this. I am given the right tools by Insight to achieve the goals I set for myself and generally to 'make things happen'. I am proud to be supported by my management on the initiatives that I take and drive through.

What makes Insight a different place to work?
Insight is a proactive organisation and tries to think one step ahead of its clients in terms of their needs and possible range of solutions that might be of interest. This has especially been important in the recent volatile markets. Insight is not static and is consistently developing new products to be the first-mover / innovator.

Nimesh Patel

What makes you proud to work here?
We’re forward thinking and we innovate, we are ahead of many firms in terms of our IT Desktop Infrastructure.  The development of people is incredible, if you’ve got talent and put the work in the opportunities are there.  It is very important for me personally to work with high calibre people, inevitably this accelerates your own learning and development.

What makes Insight a different place to work?
The working environment is very warm, friendly and professional – we don’t just get things done, we do things properly.  We are encouraged to try new and different methods to aid improvement so, for example, a new joiner in our team is seen as a fresh pair of eyes.  We always ask them, “This is how we currently do things but if you can think of a better way, tell us and we’ll try it!”

Our IT contractors (who have worked all over the City) always comment on how much they love working here because they are treated as a person rather than a number and they are encouraged to put their own ideas forward, making a real contribution. They also see that there’s room to grow and develop at Insight and as a result, several IT contractors/consultants have become permanent staff - this doesn’t often happen elsewhere.

Friendly, yet professional, environment where people are always looking to better themselves without apportioning blame.

What makes you proud to work here?
There’s a real sense of innovation – although Insight has existed for over 12 years it still feels like we’re at the start of the journey and we’re part of something that’s making significant changes to the industry.

What makes Insight a different place to work?
You can have exposure to as much of the business as you want to know about, for example, I can walk over to the ESG team, down to Legal and then catch up with Derivative Operations on the way back. Having access to this range of knowledge would be hard to replicate.

I have worked here for a number of years and Insight has constantly evolved during that time but remained a pioneering, dynamic and forward thinking company. It is a friendly, collegiate place to work. We have long-standing relationships with clients, forming strong alliances with them in helping them achieve their goals.
