Bruce joined Insight in February 2015 as Director, Australia and New Zealand to lead Insight’s business in Australasia. Prior to Insight, Bruce was a Managing Director at BNY Mellon and has held Director positions at Macquarie Funds Management, Deutsche Asset Management and Deutsche Life where he chaired the investment committee. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Bruce’s career has spanned the armed services, credit analysis, audit, product development and distribution. He holds a BSc and MCom from the University of New South Wales, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from MGSM and is a CAIA charterholder.
Head of Research - Quant Strategies, Currency Solutions
James joined Insight in January 2013 following the acquisition of Pareto. He is a key member of the Research Team providing ongoing support and development for the currency risk management product, currency alpha products as well as research and client support for the Asia-Pacific region. James originally joined the Research Team at Pareto in June 1996 after two years with Westpac Investment Management in Sydney where he headed the development of a quantitative tactical asset allocation product. Prior to entering the financial industry, James was a research scientist working in electro-optical and communications in the Australian defence industry from 1989 to 1994. He has published articles in the fields of queuing theory and optical filter design. James graduated from the University of Adelaide, South Australia with a Bachelor of Maths Science degree (with honours). He also holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics.

Christopher Veldman, CFA
Chris joined Insight in January 2013, following the acquisition of Pareto. Chris, as a member of the Research Team, is responsible for developing Insight’s currency strategies and contributing to global research initiatives. He also supports the client service and business development personnel in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining the Sydney office, Chris was a member of the Research Team in London where he played a pivotal role in the research and portfolio management of currency strategies. Chris graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BBusSc (Hons) in Computer Science. He also holds an MSc in International Securities Investment and Banking from the ICMA Centre, University of Reading as well as the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF). Chris is also a CFA charterholder.
Business Services Manager
Melinda joined Insight in May 2014 as a Business Services Manager specifically responsible for supporting the development of the firm’s Australasian distribution and client service functions. Prior to Insight, Melinda spent 10 years at ANZ Global Wealth as an Executive Assistant to the CIO. Melinda holds the Diploma in Financial Markets from the Securities Institute of Australia.
Adam Kibble, CAIA
Adam joined Insight in May 2017 as a Investment Specialist, responsible for Australian client portfolio support for Insight’s currency risk management, multi-asset and fixed income capabilities. Adam brings a wealth of experience in portfolio management and product development, particularly in currency and fixed income. He spent almost 20 years at Macquarie Investment Management which included managing Macquarie’s currency overlay program from 2001 to 2007 and more recently as head of commodity funds. Adam started his investment management career at Queensland Investment Corporation as a currency and fixed income portfolio manager. Adam holds a BComm. in Finance from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is also a CAIA charterholder.
Amy Clements, CFA
Amy joined Insight’s Sydney office as a Investment Specialist in January 2019, relocating from the London office where she was a Consultant Relationship Manager. As part of the Global Consultant Relations Team since January 2017, she was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with a number of investment consultants. She initially joined Insight in June 2012 as a Sales Associate within the UK Business Development Team and subsequently became a Client Service Specialist in November 2013, working directly alongside our client directors in the day-to-day servicing of a range of our institutional clients. Prior to joining Insight, Amy spent three years at Ten Group in various client servicing roles, latterly as a Client Services Manager. Amy has a Bachelor of Business Science (Hons) degree in Finance from the University of Cape Town and the Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Society of the UK. She is also a CFA charterholder and has the Certification in Investment Performance Measurement™ (CIPM) designation.
