LDI Performance Analyst (based in London)

The Performance Management Team here at Insight is responsible for analysis and monitoring of the investment performance across our full fund range with a remit that includes; identification of any issues that may arise as well as analysis of the key drivers of out/under performance. As an Analyst in the Performance team you will be interacting on a daily basis with a host of core stakeholders such as; Fund Managers, Quantitative Analysts, Solutions Designers, Client Directors, Marketing and Reporting, as such the ability to build and maintain relationships at a senior level will be a key quality to be successful in this role.

The role will see you conducting complex tasks including but not limited to; calculation of Liability Driven Investment returns & attribution and continual improvement of processes and templates for the various returns delivered by the team; Portfolio NAV based returns, Liability Exposure based returns, Synthetic Equity vs Index based returns, CDS returns & Pooled funds returns. Although prior knowledge of these specific responsibilities is useful it is not a prerequisite however we are ideally looking for someone with prior experience in asset Management (middle/back office or client roles) coupled with; a high level of technical aptitude, advanced excel skills, a strong academic record and excellent people skills

Client Reporting Analyst (based in New York)

Based in our 200 Park Ave office this is an exciting opportunity to join our rapidly expanding US business. Reporting to the head of Distribution Operations for North America the role will be responsible for the oversight of an outsourced back office provider to ensure accurate and efficient client reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis as well as hands on creation of bespoke/custom reporting where required.

In addition to strong relationship management skills; ideally you will also have a background in a dedicated client reporting role within the Investment Industry and strong knowledge of Fixed Income investments and financial markets is also highly desirable

Client Services (based in London)

Guideline Implementation and Control Manager (based in London)

The Mandate Control team here at Insight sit with and support the Fund Managers to ensure our client guidelines are operationally viable and risk limits fully adhered to. This is a management role that will see you not only overseeing the team responsible for the coding and monitoring of guidelines but also working directly with our Fund and Relationship Managers to develop guidelines that fully reflect the client’s intent and strategy.

Insight is widely regarded as Market leader for our LDI (Liability Driven Investment) Solutions and this position will be an integral part of the successful running of this function as much of the work will be dedicated to our LDI business.

Head of Transitions and Onboarding (based in London)

Reporting to the Head of Technology Development & Operations this is a high profile role with responsibility to build and lead the Transitions and Onboarding team in London.  Working alongside teams in the Client Service Group, you will be responsible for delivering all operational and trade documentation elements of a wide portfolio of new client onboarding, fund launches and asset transitions, including derivatives.

The role will include significant coordination with Insight teams in Operations, Client Service Group, Legal and Investment. The role will also include oversight of Insight’s investment operations outsourcing partner (Northern Trust) and other external parties including clients, consultants, external investment managers and custodians. The ideal candidate will take a lead in shaping how Insight teams and external parties work together most effectively as well as working in partnership with a peer in NYC to create a holistic global approach for the business as a whole.

A proven track record in transitions and onboarding is a pre requisite however this does not necessarily have to come from a Buy Side institution, other core knowledge and skills include; Understanding of Pooled Funds, Segregated Mandates and In-Specie activities, prior experience with Derivative Instruments, people management & leadership and the ability to work autonomously and flexibly with minimal supervision.

Loan Documentation Specialist (based in London)

The team is responsible for supporting the business in the delivery of exemplary service to a range of clients consisting of Insurance Companies, Financial Institutions, Pension Funds and other Corporate Investors. Client mandates vary from smaller clients investing in pooled vehicles with less than £10 million to substantial corporate mandates of increasing complexity. The team’s performance is critical to the success of the business as a whole. The role of the team, and of each individual, is to absorb and manage as much as possible of the client service workload created by the clients and consultants.

Risk Analyst (based in London)

Insight are currently looking to hire a Risk Analyst to support a variety of tasks across the Corporate Risk Function. The team are responsible for the continued development of the Risk Management Framework (encompassing Operational, Fiduciary, Business and Reputational risks) within Insight and role will see you working closely with internal stakeholders including Senior Management and external Stakeholders including the wider Bank of New York Mellon Group Risk functions.

The area is also responsible for the co-ordination of Business Continuity and Information Risk Management. The role of the Risk Analyst will be to support the team by undertaking corporate risk reporting and MI, maintaining the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (‘RSCA’) programme and co-ordination of regular meetings with all business owners

We are looking for a proactive individual with a strong collaborative attitude and first class interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in Financial Services and strong Excel skills with an interest in developing their career in risk management.

Secured Finance Analyst (based in London)

Reporting directly to a Senior Portfolio Manager, the Secured Finance Analyst will be responsible for a variety of Investment focused activities including: assisting the wider team with credit analysis of structured credit instruments, modelling new securities, producing daily new issue reports to keep portfolio managers informed of market conditions and liaising with sell side counterparties to collect pertinent information. The role requites a broad skill set as you will need both the quantitative skills to create mathematical models (particularly in Excel) and well as the strong written and communication skills required to deal with complex documentation and to interact with a variety of counterparties. Strong academics are a must and some prior FS experience preferred.
